Kalimah Z. White, J.D. is a former practicing attorney with over 25 years of experience advising closely held businesses and high net worth individuals related to corporate restructuring, business transitions, and tax and trust planning. As a Senior Consulting Director with Key Family Wealth’s Business Advisory Services Consulting Group, Kalimah works with closely held business owners to build proactive business transition strategies and develop personal and business tax plans to minimize income and transfer tax liabilities before, during and after a business transition.
Kalimah is a frequent speaker and author and often interviewed regarding estate, trust, and tax law issues. Prior to joining Key Family Wealth Consulting Group in February 2022, Kalimah held the positions of Wealth Strategist at TD Bank Private Client Group and as a Senior Trust Officer at J.P. Morgan Trust Company of Delaware.
Kalimah is a graduate of Temple University, magna cum laude, and earned her law degree and Estate Planning Certification from Temple University Beasley School of Law. She is also a graduate of the Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust & Estates Counsel (ACTEC). Kalimah is an Adjunct Professor of estate planning at Delaware State University’s Financial Planning and Wealth Management Program and serves on the program’s Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Delaware’s Trust Management minor and Vice Chair of the Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County.
