Stephen Alberti

Commercial Insurance

Stephen has had a 40+ year career in the insurance industry. He started in 1977 with Liberty Mutual in both claims and business sales, plus a very successful 38 year relationship with Rampart Insurance Services as a broker/ producer.

He is a graduate of Hofstra University and also holds a professional designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He has been a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors since 1999. Steve is also a member of the Melville Chamber of Commerce.

Steve enjoys working with both startups and established business clients in all areas of commercial insurance and risk management.

He can be a valuable resource in providing a “second opinion” in analyzing the insurance needs in the M&A process. He also has a large number of business and personal lines clients for who he provides Homeowners, auto, life , and health / benefits insurance.

Regarding outside interests, Steve has been active in supporting Lupus charities as a board member and volunteer. He is also active in his synagogue and has served as a board member, and on various committees.

Steve is a member of the US Coast Guard Guard Auxiliary, and is also a member of the USCGA Band, as a musician (French horn, trumpet) and has served as a Flotilla Commander, and staff officer. He enjoys other musical pursuits with the West Islip Symphony, and the Huntington Community Band.

He is an avid fisherman, kayaker, and sailor and he is married with 2 children, in Centerport, NY.

There are a lot of moving parts about buying and selling a business, and he certainly knows his stuff!
