Brian Mclntyre

Brian McIntyre is a Partner and Market Leader of Corporate Valuation and SBA Loan  Valuations in the Princeton office of Withum’s Forensic and Valuation Services  Department serving clients in both the private and public sectors. He has provided  business valuations for tax, financial reporting, financing, and litigation support purposes.  In 2018, Brian founded and continues to lead Withum’s SBA business valuation service  line. He has spoken at a variety of conferences surrounding issues related to the valuation  of small businesses. Since 2012, Brian has performed various types of valuations  including, but not limited to, estate and gift tax, 409A/ASC 718 (deferred compensation),  ASC 805 (intangible assets), ASC 350/360 (impairments), martial dissolution,  shareholder disputes, economic damages, financing, buy-sell agreements, transaction  advisement, intellectual property, and employee stock ownership plans. He also has  experience performing reviews of external valuations for audit support and rebuttals of  opposing expert reports for litigation matters.

Matthew Barrett

Matthew is a Business Development Executive at Withum focusing on the New York  and Philadelphia markets. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at Villanova University  where he majored in finance in the Villanova School of Business. At Withum, Matthew  focuses on promoting Withum’s transaction advisory and valuation teams nationally  while looking to assist Philadelphia and New York prospects with audit or tax needs.  Matthew has aligned Withum with Opus Connect, a middle-market M&A community  to connect the firm with private equity firms, investment banks, independent  sponsors, and family offices in the middle market.  Matthew, along with his colleague,  started the SBA business valuation service line at Withum, where the firm now serves  over 80 banks across the country.  Matthew also started the Withum College Game  Watch Series which are networking events in Philadelphia, Boston, and New York. In  Philadelphia, the events highlight the Big 5 basketball games; in Boston, the events  highlight the Beanpot Hockey Tournament; and in New York, the events highlight the  Big East Tournament. All proceeds from the events go towards the Ronald McDonald  House and the American Cancer Society.
